Because of the extreme weight, this material is not usually found on the average residential building. Nevertheless, it is a preferred type of roof with highly selective builders.

4. Lastly, there is the metal roof. This is a very classic roof and is used on houses as well as out buildings; such as barns. It generally comes in the form of galvanized corrugated sheets. It is inexpensive and highly durable. It is also very easy to install.
